It's that time of year again when the leaves are falling, and the gaming releases are heating up. This November is looking to be a month full of potential Game of the Year contenders and interesting experiments that may or may not pay off.
Sonic Frontiers is one of the most anticipated releases this month. The open-world Sonic game is a first for the series, and fans are anxious to see how it plays out. Unfortunately, the latest gameplay videos have been met with mixed reactions, raising doubts about the game's potential.
Somerville is another game that has been shrouded in mystery since it was first announced 5 years ago. Not much is known about the game, but it is being developed by the co-author of Limbo and Inside. According to the plot, the earth has been invaded by aliens, and a family must try to survive. The success of the mission will depend on the actions of each family member.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is another anticipated release this month. Activision is calling it the evolution of its predecessor and the genre in general. The game will feature a new map, updated gameplay mechanics, and a redesigned Battle Pass system.
Goat Simulator 3 is also released this month and will feature a new co-op mode and a mountain of additional content. Unfortunately, the game will not be available on last-generation consoles.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is the latest installment in the series and will tell the story of documentarians who are investigating a modern reconstruction of the "Castle of Killers" of Henry Holmes, the first official serial killer of the United States.
