Pokemon Day 2023 was no exception, with the reveal of several game updates, DLCs, and merchandise. As part of these reveals, The Pokemon Company partnered with the Japanese brand Takara Tomy to produce a Pokemon-themed lamp, the “Puni Kyun Light,” that is shaped after Pikachu, the world-renowned Electric-type pocket creature.

As a tribute to Pokemon fans everywhere, the Pikachu Puni Kyun Light is made out of soft material and can be turned on and off by simply tapping it. It also features adjustable brightness, making it a useful household item for any avid fan. Additionally, the Pikachu Puni Kyun Light is battery-powered, although buyers will have to purchase the batteries separately.

Despite its various features, the Pikachu Puni Kyun Light is part of the Pokemon Peaceful Place range of products available only for purchase and delivery in Japan. This makes it difficult for Pokemon fans outside Japan to get access to the products they love, including the Pikachu-shaped lamp.
