PayPal Rolls Out Tap to Pay Support on Android for U.S. Sellers via Venmo and Zettle

PayPal, a global digital payment platform, has recently unrolled a new feature, Tap to Pay, for merchants who use Android phones via Zettle and Venmo applications in the U.S. This groundbreaking development stems from PayPal's consistent strides to facilitate seamless electronic transactions and redefine the way businesses operate.

The Tap to Pay feature, first introduced in the U.K., allows merchants to accept payments by either tapping cards or digital wallets without additional hardware. While the Zettle app now supports this feature for all U.S.-based merchants, a gradual rollout is planned for Venmo business profile users. As per PayPal, the charge for every sale through Tap to Pay method is 2.29% + 9¢ across both platforms.
