Jean-Claude Van Damme Features in New Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer

Months have passed since Netherrealm Studios announced that Jean-Claud Van Damme would be featured in Mortal Kombat 1 as a Johnny Cage skin for Premium Edition buyers. But, they have barely showcased him in action. Our initial glimpse of the skin in action was finally offered in yesterday's Hot Ones episode, and it only lasted a few seconds. Thankfully, this was only a teaser.

The Mortal Kombat 1 trailer released today focuses on Jean-Claud Van Damme's Johnny Cage. Ed Boon was not joking when he told David that the Belgian actor contributes more than just his voice to the game. The trailer even gives us a peek at what happens when he fights the original Cage.
